Tokyo Arrival and Activities

Yesterday, May 24, we landed in Tokyo off of a 16 hour plane flight. Although everyone was very tired, we jumped right into action. We dropped our bags off at the hotel and then headed out for excursions. First, we went to see Sumo wrestling. The Mike Moses kids and Luke were betting on who would win each match, making it comical. Afterwards we went to a restruant that served the meal that Sumo wrestlers eat. The food was pretty good but we weren't quite sure how we were supposed to eat it. From Sumo wrestling, we went to Shibuya crossing. About every 3 minutes, many people would flood into the street all at once. After visiting a market, we went to the hotel. When e checked int the rooms, we found that rooms were VERY small. After resting, we went out, ate dinner, and went up to an observatory.

  1. I can't imagine all of the people crossing the street at one time. I hate going to Buckees when it is crowded! The pictures are amazing, and the food looks wonderful. Please be sure to have some Ramen in my honor! Hope you have a great time!
