Welcome to our 2013 Japan Exchange Blog!

Each year our district sends students to Japan as part of our "Sister School" and "Sister City" arrangements with Ikueikan Jr. High and Amami City Public Schools.  NISD has participated in exchanges with Kagoshima Ikueikan Jr. High since 1995.

This year I will be taking 3 boys and 2 girls to Japan on May 22nd from McMichael Middle School in Nacogdoches, Texas to reciprocate host families, as they sent 6 students to visit us in October 2012.   We will return home on June 6th.
